The following is a European Parliament resolution, "European Parliament Resolution of 30 April 2026 on the New Chinese Law on 'Ethnic Unity and Progress' and the Intensified Suppression of Ethnic Identities (2026/2703(RSP))". The resolution, among other issues, highlights China's policies of linguistic and cultural assimilation in Southern Mongolia, suppression of ethnic identities, as well as the plight of political prisoners, including Mr. Hada, who has been forcibly disappeared since last February after more than 30 years of deprivation of liberty, including 15 years of imprisonment, four years of extrajudicial detention, and an definite period of house arrest:
